Nutrition is really about eating the right amount, right time and right amount of calories with fiber and whole grains to build our energy needed to sustain all body functions. Nutritional needs also include combination of nutrients, such as fat, to help build cell membranes and muscles as well as other substances to help control body processes such as blood clotting.

Everyone has their own ways of managing stress. Connecting with loved ones, seeking physical activity, writing in a journal, etc. dealing with stress. What works for one may not work for another. All I can do is advocate for my particular way of doing things. I realize it’s very hard to do what everyone else is doing. I may get too resentful if everyone else focuses on how happy they are not to be in their position. But I’m also realistic. So I have to enjoy my own life and I take great enjoyment in my journey to achieve my goals no matter what those may be.
